Pictures of my booth today

Today was "Petfest" in Old Town Spring, the location of my booth. Not really an antiquing crowd but we had a steady stream of foot traffic. I snapped a few shots of my stuff while I was there.

My chalkboard/magnet trays. I ♥ them!!! Must I sell??? : (

I went to the dollar store today looking for something for a project (more on that project later, but it has something to do with those plastic insects you see pictured). The dollar store happens to be next to Goodwill so I decided to take a peek, not planning on buying anything really.

I found a stack of four vintage metal trays for $1 each...and lots of silver trays (which I only purchased one of...kicking myself for that because it turned out the best!)

Anyways...using the can of chalkboard paint, here is the VERY simple way to transform the trays.

I think on the red ones I will do something Christmas-y!

Around the house

Snapped a few photos around the house today. Guess I'm trying to inspire myself to "pull it all together" and finish it all. I have a problem with getting a room 80% there and then abandoning it for a new decorating adventure. I really do have adult A.D.D....guess it's time for meds. : )

OK...I don't OWN this vintage milk sign but I want it really bad. It's over $800 on EBay!!! : (

My Dream Guest Cottage

I have this weird dream to one day have a tiny guest cottage in my backyard. I don't tell many people about this because I feel like a grown woman wanting a dollhouse, but I had the feeling there might be a few of you who understand my weirdness. I have actually been collecting pictures and magazines for years. Snippets of floor plans and colors and fretwork and beautiful tiny english gardens with window boxes and trelises (sp?) covered with tiny blush pink roses.

It will be very femanine and romantic. It will have a tiny farmhouse style kitchen...

A tiny porch with just enough room for two rocking chairs would be nice...

It must have window boxes...

It WILL happen someday. Until then I can keep adding to my scrapbook and sharing my dreams with you guys.♥
